Position Overview

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to perform skilled nursing visits in clients' homes throughout the Metro Milwaukee area during the day on Saturdays and Sundays (every other weekend).

In this role, you will travel from client to client, providing focused one-on-one care. Visits are efficient, typically lasting 10-15 minutes, followed by immediate electronic documentation. While this is a weekend position, there are opportunities to pick up additional visits during the week if desired.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Pay: Estimated earnings of $400 to $500 per weekend (based on visit volume).

• Pay Structure: Per-visit compensation model.

• Training: Full orientation and shadowing provided. Home health experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

• Flexibility: Option to pick up extra weekday shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform skilled nursing tasks including Medication Management, Wound Care, Colostomy Care, and Patient Education.

• Complete electronic nursing visit notes immediately following each visit.

• Travel efficiently between client homes in the Metro Milwaukee area.

• Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Qualifications

To succeed in this Home Health RN position, you must be professional, energetic, and possess a positive, empathetic personality.

• Licensure: Valid, current, and unrestricted RN license in the state of Wisconsin.

• Attitude: A positive, "Can-Do" attitude is essential!

• Experience: 1-3 years of nursing experience in home care is preferred, but new to home health? We will train you.

• Transportation: Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current automobile insurance.

• Technology: Strong computer skills; must be capable of electronic charting and adapting to new technology.

• Health Requirements:

  • Current TB skin test (within 90 days of hire) or willing to take one.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

• Skills: Strong organizational, assessment, and problem-solving abilities. Must be able to interact well with patients, families, and physicians.
